We have implemented numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure the most comprehensive possible protection of personal data. Please note that Internet-based data transmissions can have security gaps and therefore no absolute protection can be guaranteed. Of course, you can also provide us with personal data (e.g. as part of an application) by alternative means (e-mail, telephone, etc.).

If no special services of the website (e.g. contact form) are used, the basic use of our website is also possible without providing personal data.

DATA COLLECTION ON OUR WEBSITE

Cookies

Some of our Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser.

The cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

In the "Careers" section, we also use a cookie for the Matomo analysis tool; you can object to its use via a cookie banner.

Legal basis
Cookies, which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a justified interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services.

This is hosted on our own server and is configured so that no cookie is set on your computer with which your browser can be recognized. If subpages of our website are accessed, the following data will be stored:

  • The data collected with Matomo is stored on our own servers. It will not be passed on to third parties.

Purpose of data processing
We need the data in order to analyse the surfing behaviour of the users and to obtain information about the use of the individual components of the website. This enables us to constantly optimise the website and its user-friendliness. Our justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO is based on these purposes. By anonymizing the IP address, we take into account the user's interest in the protection of personal data. The data is never used to personally identify the user of the website and is not merged with other data.

Duration of storage
The data is deleted when it is no longer needed for our purposes.

Possibility of objection
You can object to the recording of the data in the manner described above in three different ways:

  • You can prevent cookies from being stored in your browser altogether. However, this means that you may no longer be able to use certain functions of our website that require identification (shopping cart, orders, personal settings, etc.).
  • You can activate the "Do-not-Track" setting in your browser. Our Matomo system is configured to respect this setting.
  • You can create a so-called opt-out cookie with a mouse click below, which is valid for two years. As a result, Matomo will not register your further visits. Please note, however, that the opt-out cookie will be deleted if you delete all cookies.
