Of course, you can also provide us with personal data (e.g. as part of an application) by alternative means (e-mail, telephone, etc.).

If no special services of the website (e.g. contact form) are used, the basic use of our website is also possible without providing personal data.

DATA COLLECTION ON OUR WEBSITE

Cookies

Some of our Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser.

The cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

In the "Careers" section, we also use a cookie for the Matomo analysis tool; you can object to its use via a cookie banner.

  • The data collected with Matomo is stored on our own servers. It will not be passed on to third parties.

Purpose of data processing
We use the data for the purpose of maintaining the systems, scaling the resources and optimising the website. These purposes constitute our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. By anonymising the IP address, we take into account the interest of users in the protection of personal data. The data is never used to personally identify the user of the website and is not merged with other data.

Duration of storage
The data is deleted when it is no longer needed for our purposes.

Possibility of objection
You can object to the recording of the data in the manner described above in three different ways:

  • You can prevent cookies from being stored in your browser altogether. However, this means that you may no longer be able to use certain functions of our website that require identification (shopping cart, orders, personal settings, etc.).
  • You can activate the "Do-not-Track" setting in your browser. Our Matomo system is configured to respect this setting.
  • You can create a so-called opt-out cookie with a mouse click below, which is valid for two years. As a result, Matomo will not register your further visits. Please note, however, that the opt-out cookie will be deleted if you delete all cookies.

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that newsletters are sent out in agreement. In the course of this, the potential recipient can be included in a distribution list. Subsequently, the user receives the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. If you do not wish this to be analysed, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide an appropriate link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

The data you enter for the purpose of newsletter subscription will be stored on Newsletter2Go's servers in Germany.
