With the signing of the contract for the acquisition of the companies ProfessorPfeiferundPartner PartGmbB and PfeiferConsult Beratende Ingenieure im Bauwesen, which belong to the PfeiferINTERPLAN brand, four acquisitions were successfully completed within the German SOCOTEC platform by end of 2021.

In line with the SOCOTEC Group's growth strategy and with the aim of strengthening its national and international presence and further expanding its expertise on the German market, several well-known and high-performing companies were integrated into the SOCOTEC Germany companies CANZLER and ZPP INGENIEURE.

Already in the first half of the year, the existing Berlin location was strengthened in terms of personnel and expertise with the complete merger of Ingenieurbüro Tesch. A team of more than 25 engineers with experience in electrical engineering, building automation and building equipment now works side by side in order to be able to use synergies in the planning of different trades.

With the takeover of Huber Lischka Architekten and the engineering office for technical building equipment Zickler und Jakob Planungen, SOCOTEC Germany combines the different competences from architecture, urban planning, energy consulting and interior design with the services of technical building equipment and electrical engineering. After the transition of PSP TUNNELLING into ZPP INGENIEURE AG - A SOCOTEC COMPANY at the turn of the year, more than 50 employees in the Bavarian capital will then jointly provide complex and challenging planning, consulting and expert services with comprehensive know-how for our customers.

At the end of the year, another step towards the future was taken with the acquisition of the two companies ProfessorPfeiferundPartner PartGmbB and PfeiferConsult Beratende Ingenieure im Bauwesen. The expertise in the areas of construction consulting, especially structural design, building physics, fire protection and in the field of structural engineering testing will be supplemented in future by more than 70 employees at a further five locations throughout Germany.

"With the integration of the companies into the SOCOTEC Group, we are strengthening our position in the national and international market, gaining additional expertise and comprehensive know-how, and are even more broadly positioned than before in terms of expertise and personnel in all our service areas. A consistent step into the future. SOCOTEC Germany has thus increased its total turnover by 10 percent within one year and employs more than 950 people at a total of 24 locations in Germany and Austria at the turn of the year." says Ludger Speier, CEO of SOCOTEC Germany.

"I am very pleased about the continuous growth in Germany and the successful integration of the companies into the SOCOTEC Group. With the expansion of capacities and the network of locations, we are not only strengthening our presence, but are also constantly developing in a very dynamic market through innovative solutions and the expert knowledge of a large number of employees - always focusing on the satisfaction of our private and public clients," adds Hervé Montjotin, CEO of the SOCOTEC Group.
